Article I
Organization:
a. The name of the club shall be the Martial Arts Club
b. The purpose of the club is to practice Martial Arts, to increase the people’s awareness of Martial Arts, and
to teach people to become happier, healthier, and wiser.
c. The Martial Arts Club will perform demonstrations for the school, events, and for community service. The club maybe
will schedule out-of-campus workouts and practices. Fundraising will probably expected to be rare, but if the case comes,
maybe to provide money for T-shirts (uniforms), pads, mats, tournaments, and other martial arts equipment.
d. Members should be encouraged to participate in Martial Arts. Members should have a positive attitude and be attentive.
e. Mr. Clark’s Golden Rule:
“Trust is the foundation for being able to make anything work”
f. It is the job
of the members of Martial Arts club to uphold the trust of their advisor.
Article II
Eligibility:
a. Anyone who has an interest
in any martial art is welcome to join.
Article III
Officers and Meetings:
a.
Officers shall be comprised of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Advertisers.
All are charged with an equal responsibility to uphold honorable institutions by notifying our advisor with any changes in
how the club is normally runned.

The President shall be responsible for setting meeting
dates for officers and general members, running meetings, and overseeing the club function in general. In addition, the president
shall be the leader or teacher of the club. The President shall lead the club in the daily martial art activities.

The Vice-President shall oversee the club in the event
of the President’s absence and work closely with the President in setting guidelines for the club. In addition, the
VP may lead in the President’s absence and assists the President in the daily activities.

The Secretary shall be responsible for recording the
meeting minutes, storing and securing paperwork (rosters, agendas, minutes, miscellaneous), and typing correspondence. Also,
the secretary shall participate in assisting the President.
4.
The Treasurer shall be responsible for keeping track
of the club accounts, managing deposits and keeping balances, working closely with the school controller. Treasurer may help
with the practice at the club.
5.
Advertisers will help people become aware of the Martial
Arts Club and its activities. Also to spread the knowledge of the Martial Arts Club.
Advertisers shall put up ads, pictures, flyers, and help increase the popularity of the club.
b. Elections are pre-determined when the club began as the club makers. But, if the club decides to hold elections, then
the club may. However, the club starters will have the final say. In the event, which elections are held, rules will follow
JFK standard guidelines.
c. Officer and member meetings will be held concurrently every Monday and Wednesday after school usually in the Wrestling
room, G1 or dance room, G-3, but the place may be changed in case of new conditions. Practices may be held in meeting place,
quad, or off campus.
Article IV
Financial Activities:
a. If
we have fundraising, it probably will be towards getting
Martial Arts equipment and money for trips to do performances.
b. Fundraising activities will be for the purposes of mostly going to trips, martial arts related. Also raising money
to make uniforms, pads, mats, and other martial arts stuff.
c. Deposits will be made at the end of every day there is a fundraising activity by the club advisor.
d. Expenditures will be approved by majority vote.
e. Activity of the club finances will be recorded by the Treasurer and submitted to Student Government in
the Bimonthly Club Report.
